Boxing

Boxing is a combat sport in which two participants, usually wearing gloves and protective gear, engage in a contest of strength, speed, reflexes, and strategy by throwing punches at each other. The objective is to score points by landing strikes on the opponent while avoiding being hit. Matches typically take place in a square ring, and they are divided into timed rounds. Judging may be based on the number of punches landed, the effectiveness of those punches, and overall control of the fight. Boxing has a long history and is governed by a set of rules, including restrictions on target areas and fouls. It can be practiced at various levels, from amateur competitions to professional bouts.
