Invasion

Invasion refers to the act of forcibly entering and occupying a territory or space, typically with the intent to conquer, control, or exploit it. This term is commonly used in military contexts, where one nation or group enters another’s territory through armed forces. Invasion can also apply to other contexts, such as the spread of a species into a new ecosystem, or the overwhelming presence of a phenomenon in a certain area, often to the detriment of existing species or systems. The term conveys notions of aggression, intrusion, and disruption of the existing order.
